Scott Feeney

Scott Feeney, holding a Bachelor of Business Majoring in Tourism Management and Marketing, is one of the SE Asian regions foremost gaming professionals. Scott started his casino career in 1986 in Burswood Casino, Perth, Australia. His casino management career began with management positions on board casino cruise ships sailing out of Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan and went on to manage land-based casinos in Cambodia. Thereafter Scott set-up and managed gaming operations in various senior executive positions over five start up casinos in SE Asia within a six-year period. In 2004, Scott worked with Century Legend, a Hong Kong listed company, to set-up and manage a modern sophisticated casino and hotel operation in Subic Bay, Philippines, which quickly became a prized asset. Scott then presided over several key casino development and management projects in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Nepal, and as part of a Spectrum Gaming Group team, worked as a gaming development advisor for over eighteen months for the owners of Bloomberry’s US$1 billion Solaire Resort casino project in Manila Bay, Philippines, which opened very successfully in March 2013. Scott has worked on several consulting projects since including Resorts World Manila’s 2013 IPO and in 2015 completed the design, interior fit out, project management and construction of Naka Entertainment Palace, Laos. In 2015 Scott worked on a feasibility study and business plan for Tianjin Union Development Group’s Cambodia Coast Tourism Zone project, which is planned to be SE Asia’s largest integrated destination resort outside of Macau. Through 2015-2016 Scott oversaw the casino operations contract for GCG in Samoa wherein GCG operated the Whitesands Casino. In 2013 Scott was contracted by Silver Heritage Limited to oversee the casino design, set up and operations of Tiger Palace Resort & Casino, Nepal. 2017 saw the development and establishment of a small boutique casino on the Thailand / Laos border in Vientiane, STV Casino, and also the pre-opening development services for Millennium Pan Asia’s US$350 million project Infinity City, Cebu Philippines. 2020 sees Scott conducting two consultancy projects for developers within the burgeoning Philippines market, both set to open in 2023-2024 period. Scott continues to develop the GCG brand and is working closely with Toocann, a Sydney based supplier, for new products and approaches to servicing the Asia Pacific gaming industry.


Grant Cheeseman

Mr. Grant Cheeseman has been involved in the gaming industry since 1985 starting his gaming career as a croupier in Perth, Western Australia and having most recently worked in the position of Director of Gaming at Sands Cotai Central, Macau. In Mr. Cheeseman’s 29-year highly credentialed gaming career he has gained a valuable knowledge base in the varying senior management and executive roles both from an operational and a development perspective. Mr. Cheeseman has vast regional experience in both pre and post opening gaming operations in the large-scale resort properties of Macau and Singapore, the smaller boutique casinos in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar, and combines this with a wealth of international experience in Australia (Perth and Sydney), South Africa and several years with Star Cruises. His work alongside many respected and esteemed regional operators including Las Vegas Sands (LVS) gives a special insight into Mr. Cheeseman’s tremendous gaming knowledge. Mr. Cheeseman’s recent South East Asian regional experience, over the last 10 years in particularly, saw an extended period of time working in Macau for LVS. During this time Mr. Cheeseman held various senior gaming positions including Gaming Shift Manager (2004 to 2006) and Director of Casino Projects (2006 to 2012). Mr. Cheeseman was intimately involved in the pre opening of gaming operations for Sands Macau (2004), Venetian Macau (2007), Four Seasons Macau (2008), Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (2010) and Sands Cotai Central, Macau (2012-2013), under the USA based company LVS. Mr. Cheeseman’s key responsibilities in his role as Director of Casino Projects during this period in Macau and Singapore was to manage LVS’s senior executives and shareholders new casino projects’ gaming development vision expectation with the requirements of the architects, designers and project management contractors and the operational needs of the various gaming departments including Gaming, CCTV, Cage, VIP Services, Marketing, Security, Electronic Gaming, and of note the Junket Operators, to deliver these world-class gaming projects.  Upon the opening of Sands Cotai Central, Macau, Mr. Cheeseman took on the position of Director of Gaming, wherein he led a team of senior management and executives in creating a very successful 600 table Casino with class-leading customer numbers, high standards of customer service and ultimately reaching the budgeted financial revenue targets of the company. Grant assisted Gaming Concepts since 2018 in various associate partner roles on projects in Laos and Philippines and officially joined the company in 2019.
